For my drypoint etching I chose a picture of a bridge. I chose this picture because I liked the depth that it had. I also liked the colors in the original photo and I thought it would be fun to recreate. I decided to add color to the background of the etching because it would help the bridge contrast more. I also didn't want to add color to the bridge because I still wanted it to look like ink was used.I like the colors i chose for the water and the trees, but I wish I would've blended them out more. I also like the way the bridge itself turned out because I think all of the lines look neat. Overall I'm happy with the way it turned out.
