I chose to create a movie theater themed zine. I love going to the movies but couldn't decide on a specific film to center my project around. On each page I put images of different things that I think of when I hear the words "movie theater". Originally, I planned for the pages to look very neat, but because of the materials I used it didn't turn out that way. I mostly worked with watercolor and ink, and because I didn't wait to let the watercolor dry before I moved on, the colors bled and made the overall outcome of my zine sort of messy. Before I started the project I should've thought more about the color scheme I wanted to go with and in the end it would've made the zine look more cohesive. I glued in magazine cutouts throughout the booklet and put clear tape over each page to seal them in further. I think this was a nice detail because it added to the neatness of the zine that I wanted in the beginning. In the future I will spend more time on my projects and be more patient when working on them because I believe I will be happier with the outcome.
