For my Linoleum Block Printing, I drew a self-portrait based on a picture of myself. I wanted my image to look very clean and neat, and I believe I achieved that through my use of lines. I like how I did my background because it makes the self-portrait stand out without being too plain. I could have done a better job with the carving of my face because I rushed it a bit. I also think I should've made the lines that define my face thicker. After my first print, I carved more of the linoleum and I made the mistake of not removing all of the excess before I made another print. So, in  all of my next prints the background was not completely opaque and was spotty around certain areas. Overall, I'm not super happy with how my block print came out in the end because my lines didn't turn out how I imagined them to be. However, I do think it looks cool and it was very fun to work with a medium like linoleum.
